Weaver K6 Scope Review. Found a Leupy 16X old target scope. I have to say the biggest let down to the K6 … it has the old german horizontal line and post type cross hairs. (Its an age thing.) Now we’re looking at this Weaver Kaspa 3-12X50 Dual-X Scope, which is a one-piece one-inch tube construction. found an old weaver scope and i am thinking about putting it on my 30-30 in place of the tasco pos that wont hold a zero that is on there now. In 1950 the K8, K10 and the variable 2.75-5X KV were added. Found my long forgotten real Weaver T-10. Way better than the money they were asking for them. I like weaver clarity and the thickness of their duplex. As far as other scopes being similar,I believe the early Bushnell scopes were being made in Japan to Weaver specs at the same time Weaver was in El Paso. It's now on the 700V. I still have a like new K6-1 Micro Trac ( from 1979 ) that I am saving for a rainy day....and a rifle to put it on. Darn nice scope too! The scope is very good at dusk and dawn, may not beat a scope costingtjree times as much but it’s a lot better than any scope in this price range. I have K-4 Weaver's and they have been good for their intended purpose. The Weaver K6 6X38 is a classic, fixed power scope built with air-craft grade aluminum and fully multi-coated optics. Any more power and mirage could be an issue. It weighs a whopping 15 oz! In 1948 the K6 was added to the lineup. Saw one years back and it was steel tubed. It’s nitrogen purged to prevent fogging and O-ring sealed to make it waterproof. Even after 80 years, Weaver scopes represent quality and value. Hope this helps. Mine were used for plinking and squirrel hunting. Got on Gunbroker just looking for a good cheap scope. One of the scopes marked USA is a K6-F with finger adjustments and El Paso doesn't have the parts to fix it. Thx. If I had to use a K-6 equipped rifle for a hunt, I would not be concerned with it in the least. 8 WEAVER Kaspa 3-12X50 Dual-X Scope – Best Low Light Rifle Scope for Competitions. During the years I was hunting with my father and his 300 win mag topped with the Weaver K6-W, I had an old style gloss finish Burris Signature Series 2.5-10x50mm scope on my 300 win mag. This is of course after verifying that it was sighted in correctly. any good? That scope replaces a 4.5X 14 X 40 mm scope. The only info he gave me about it was the # on it, which is K6-W and said the scope looked clear looking through it. I had several of them over the years. I just bought a Weaver T24 (24X Fixed Power) so I could more clearly see the target at 100 yds. I own two weaver fixed 4’s and a rim fire fixed 4. Re: weaver classic k 6x38.
